It's True... Avatars Can Dance!

My exploration into the world of new media has taught me one thing... even as an avatar, I have unforgettable dance moves!

I finally tried out Second Life and have to say, it's just not my thing!

I joined a dance party and was given Shiraz and other welcoming gifts but I was sent messages in either a foreign language or a toddler smacking the keyboard... "ouwfubav waourubrg!"

If you're curious about dancing in cyberspace, I finally have the basics of Second Life down - and when I say basics I mean, I can download the program, teleport and make friends, but that's about it.

Unlike many new media tools like Twitter, Facebook and even YouTube that are very intuitive, Second Life is frustrating and it's "tutorial" on "Help island" taught me nothing!

Maybe someday Second Life will be as user-friendly as Twitter but until then, I think I'll stick to my Wii Active :)
