A blog created to locate and reconnect with individuals Zohar has influenced over the past 30 years.
Almost 25 years ago, as I walked along the alley behind the "old" studio on California Street, I could see some wonderful dancing going on behind the double doors leading into Zohar. I hadn't had any classes in about 15 years, but knew that this was where I wanted to take classes. The warm up does its job of opening the joints and ligaments, progressing logically into the work across the floor and the combinations. The music used is varied and always interesting, and the choreography is both challenging and great fun.
